EPIC subscription options
The EPIC subscription year runs from 1 April - 31 March. You are able to join EPIC at any time during the subscription year and pay a pro-rated subscription through to the end of the subscription period.
EPIC offers two types of subscription options. The 'EPIC Packages' and the 'EPIC Opt-in Products.'
EPIC Packages
These resources offered by EPIC have been grouped into a number of 'package' options. Libraries who belong to the EPIC Consortium can select from this range of packages, and pay the subscription that applies to their chosen package. A contribution towards EPIC's administration costs is included in the pricing for the EPIC Packages.

EPIC has negotiated "all of country" licences for the resources available through the EPIC Packages. Pricing for these packages is divided proportionately amongst the member libraries and is determined by the EPIC Package pricing model.
EPIC Opt-in Products
As well as subscribing to an EPIC Package, Libraries can opt-in to subscribe to any of these e-resources:
- Ancestry Library Edition (Proquest)
- Berg Fashion Library (Oxford)
- Gale Newspaper Bundle (Gale Cengage)Public Libraries Only
- Image Quest (Encyclopædia Britannica)
- Informit New Zealand Collection (RMIT Publishing) Non-University Tertiary Libraries Only
- Music Online: Listening (Alexander Street Press)Public Libraries Only
- Oxford Dictionaries Online
- Oxford Dictionary of National Biography
- Oxford Reference Online
- PressDisplay (Proquest)
- RDA Toolkit
- Vogue Archive (ProQuest)
Libraries that do not subscribe to an EPIC Package are also able to subscribe to EPIC Opt-in Products by paying an annual administration fee per product.
Pricing for the EPIC Opt-in Products are based on consortium discounts negotiated from the vendor price models.
